The Pink Floyd Legacy

Durga McBroom’s association with Pink Floyd is legendary.

Since her debut with the band at the Omni Arena in November 1987, launching the Momentary Lapse of Reason tour, she was the only backing vocalist to appear consistently on all of their live shows up to the final concert of The Division Bell Tour, as well as David Gilmour’s solo tour in 2001. These performances were captured on the accompanying live albums The Delicate Sound of Thunder and Pulse and she also went on to record the studio albums A Momentary Lapse of Reason, The Division Bell and The Endless River.

Outside of her work with Pink Floyd she has also recorded with Kate Bush, Billy Idol, James and Steve Hackett, as well as her own chart-topping band Blue Pearl.
